One spare wind turbine blade with a length of 43 meters was moved from China to Bulgaria. Unimasters faced difficulties finding a cost effective solution.
Finally, found the best solution via Xingang to Antwerp, then loaded it on a barge from Antwerp to Passau on the Danube.
The blade was then transferred to another barge on the Danube and transported from Passau to Ruse in Bulgaria.
It was a long 70 days journey, but the blade was discharged safely to Ruse port and the delivery to the windmill field was scheduled.
All of this was done in cooperation with Chirey in China who helped with the vessel from Xingang to Antwerp and with the help of Comexas who arranged the transhipment in Antwerp.
