Projects FPS (Pvt) Ltd. have been awarded the local handling for the movement of:
- ~4000 CBM of DI Pipes which will arrive at Port of Colombo as break bulk.
- Between 50 and 75 TEUs of containerized pipe fittings and accessories.
The scope of work:
- Customs clearance
- Port handling
- Transportation to receivers site (~400 km from Colombo port)
- Unloading & stacking at receivers storage yard
- Shipments from – Lianyungang / China
- Port of discharge – Colombo / Sri Lanka
The first breakbulk shipment of 1,300 CBM arrived at the Port of Colombo onboard MV Zhe Hai V. 1/1701 on the 25th of October, 2017 and the movements were completed within 72 hours. The total project is scheduled to be completed within the first quarter of 2018.
