In a spectacular large-scale operation, special trailers weighing several hundred tons were guided in a convoy of trucks from Mühlberg/Elbe more than 50 kilometers through villages, along roundabouts and over bridges. The team had prepared the transport with great precision for almost a year: routes have been laser-scanned, tree alleys pruned, signs remounted and cables lifted – sometimes with only centimeters of margin. The loads weighed 600 tons, the first vehicle was almost 6 meters high, the second one 65 meters long.
