UFL Helped Organize a Cross-Domain Workshop on Wind Power Industry Basics & Experience Course

UFL Agency & Logistics cooperated with 輔仁大學法文系 and Taiwan International Windpower Training Corporation to organize the “Cross-Domain Workshop: Wind Power Industry Basics & Experience Course”.

The invited experts included:

✨Jumbo Offshore v.o.f. / Ella Lin HSE Officer Onshore
✨UFL Agency & Logistics / Derek Lin Coordinator- Offshore & Marine
✨UFL Agency & Logistics / Sally HSU Account Executive

The workshop helped the students to understand the future green energy trend industry – offshore wind power through a week-long intensive course, the 20-hour course combines theory and practice, and the indoor course content covers:

➡️ Introduction to offshore wind power: industry status, industrial chain model, national policies, etc
➡️ What foreign language graduates can do in the offshore wind power industry: PR, Marketing, contract, communication, crewing….How to improve their strength to achieve their goals
➡️ Overview of the maritime industry and port logistics business: the work content of the shipping company, the reasons for the high freight rate of the sea through examples, and the introduction of the basic goods transportation mode and port charging standards
➡️ Supply Chain Management: An overview of supply chain management and instructions for practical use in the field
➡️ Project Interface Management: Practical exercise operations for large-scale cargo transportation site Load in/out plan analysis and planning
➡️ Work site HSE environmental safety and health (industrial security) management: offshore wind power first-line work site environment introduction and environmental safety and health attention points, and share the actual experience of overseas operations

⛴ On the last day, an off-campus teaching field experience was scheduled:
⚓️ Taichung Port: Visit the home port of Taiwan’s largest offshore wind power operation and the assembly site of wind turbine components
⚓️ Taiwan Wind Energy Training Center: Learn about the GWO international certification course and the tests required for wind turbine workers, and actually wear equipment for high-altitude work experience
