Tschudi Project Transports adds new office in Gothenburg, Sweden

Tschudi Project Transports expands again.

With their sixth office now a reality in Sweden, Tschudi Project Transports is again proving that it pays off to be local, thus offering their logistics and freight forwarding customers the best terms for their projects.

On the 15th February 2016, Tschudi Project Transports AS will open its new office in Lilla Bommen, the harbour area of Gothenburg, Sweden. This Swedish office will fill the geographical gap between their offices in Denmark, Norway, Finland and Estonia, something which customers will undoubtedly benefit from.

Thomas Vestergaard, Managing Director in Tschudi Project Transports AS comments ”An office in Gothenburg strengthens our presence for operating in the Swedish market. This will enable us to give our Swedish customers an even better service and meet ”face to face” – a necessity for a lot of our projects.”

He adds that this expansion gives Tschudi an additional advantage when it comes to securing contracts:
”It is beneficial to be able to negotiate in one’s mother tongue eg. In a Swede to speak Swedish to a Swede. This new office will give us this competitive advantage in the Swedish market.”

In 2014, Tschudi Project Transports AS opened offices in Drammen, Norway and Århus, Denmark. Sweden was therefore the next obvious country, but hopefully not the last.
”We are a relatively small player, but one with great ambitions for Scandinavian and international markets. We often experience that we win complex and demanding transport assignments from larger competitors and we intend to keep this up. Expansion in Sweden is an important step in that direction” continues Thomas Vestergaard.

Later in the year, Country Manager Mads Olsen will be hosting an ”open house” at the Gothenburg office.
”I am really looking forward to getting started with Tschudi. They are dealing with interesting and challenging projects and work by values that I also believe in, namely always putting the customer first,” says Mads Olsen, who joins join Tschudi from a position as Branch Manager in DSV Projects Gothenburg.
