This shipment loaded thru VCTPL (Visakha Container Terminal) was part of a project being delivered by Neptune to consignee's site in Oman. The heavy lift unit of 37 tons had a challenging dimension of 6.5 meters width.
Neptune proposed the loading of cargo from Vizag port in view of the closer proximity to shippers facility. After evaluating the design of the heavy equipment and review with VCTPL, it was concluded the cargo can be safely shipped using a 40’ Flat Rack container.
VCTPL’s Senior Operations Team planned to perfection the loading operation on mv. Mogral v.007 which sailed from Vizag on 8th January, 2019.
