IOL and Comexas moved a drilling rig from Ciracas, West Java Indonesia to Dakar, Senegal. The piece was overheight and required special handling with a remote control.
A road survey was done prior to the movement and difficulties were numerous including electricity cables along the route to the port that had to be overcome, amongst others.
The client was extremely satisfied with the way the project was handled.
