6 Race horses air-freighted into Norrköping Airport in Sweden

Shortly before 11:00pm on the evening of May 23rd a Boeing 747 arrived at Norrköping airport in Sweden. The airplane was carrying six top race horses from John F. Kennedy Airport in New York. The horses arrived to participate in the Elite race which will take place at Solvalla horse racing track located in Bromma, Stockholm, Sweden on the 27th through 29th of May, 2016.

The shipment of race horses was the largest ever airplane to land at Norrkoping Airport. The airplane was 70 meters long, 65 meter wide and weighed 280 tons. The shipment attracted much attention with thousands of onlookers present for the arrival. Almroths Express was on-site as usual to take care of the Customs procedures. Everything went well and the airplane took off to Liege, Belgium after unloading.

Three photos of the shipment are as follows, one of the beautiful horses, the custom Boeing 747 and Almroths Express on-site.
