Comark handled port manipulations and barge transport from Rijeka to Pula for 2 x ABB Marine Propulsion Systems – azipods. They also took care of lashing and welding according to very strict insurance guidelines. Although the pieces were only 46 tons each they got special treatment as if they were big transformers. The azipods arrived at Rijeka as breakbulk cargo on a container vessel and then proceeded to a shipyard to be built into vessels for luxury tours and scientific expeditions in the Arctic and Antarctica.
