"I'm so much proud on my team in Liburnia Group and also thankful to all volunteers and our supporters, Yacht Club Galeb, Express Global, ASSA, Croatian Association of Shipbrokers and Agents and Faculty of Tourism. I still feel the positive energy of all the volunteers!" Said Marin Skufca, CEO & Partner of Liburnia Maritime Agency.
Marin continued, "It is incredibly sad that in 21st century, when we, human beings, claim that we're the most intelligent beings on Earth and at the peak of civilisation , there are people not able to pick up their trash! Talking about beaches, this especially goes for cigarette butts! They're not biodegradable, and they contain toxic chemicals such as arsenic (used to kill rats) and lead into the environment and can contaminate water. The toxic exposure can poison fish, as well as animals who eat cigarette butts."
