Work on rates and further shipment of cargo was started in August 2017 and today the cargo safely arrived at the port of destination.
The above photos show the transport which started at the job site in Maleev (about 25 km from Zyryanovsk, Kazakhstan) and ended at the port of Riga, Latvia.
Shipment details:
- Transportation of two road headers
6100 х 3100 х 3300 (LxWxH) mm, weight - 17000 kg each - Route: Maleevskoye deposit via the railway station “Novo-Ustkamenogorsk” -> Port of Riga -> Port of Montreal
- Total distance / transit time: ~ 13800 km / ~ 45 days
The following equipment was used in the transport:
- Low-loaders (a semi-trailer with two drops in deck height: one right after the gooseneck and one right before the wheels) along the route Maleyevskoye - Novo-Ustkamenogorsk railway station
- Two universal railway platforms on the route Novo-Ustkamenogorsk - Riga-Krasta
- Transshipment onto 2х40' FR in the port of Riga and further delivery by sea to the port of Montreal
