Wiima Logistics completed delivery to Dubai of over 3500mt of steel structures and materials for the Burj All Arab Terrace. Wiima was involved in the project from the very beginning evaluating different partners and optimizing the whole logistics chain from Rauma, Finland to Dubai, UAE. Together with selected partners the Burj Al Arab Terrace was successfully transported to Dubai in 8 sections stacked on the deck of SAL’s MV Svenja. The cargo was moved on SPMTs by Havator up to the vessel in Rauma. The installation at the destination jobsite was handled by Mammoet.
Wiima Logistics handled all shipments including accessories and other materials, totalling approximately 100 teu’s and multiple air shipments.
