CLC Projects member representing Belarus: LEGION ITC successfully accomplished transportation of two wind power generators from Germany (port of Bremen) to Kazakhstan (Petropavlovsk).
The transportation was carried by 7 trucks with maximum length of 39 meters, maximum width and height of 4.45 and 4.75 accordingly.
The goal was to complete delivery in the shortest possible time – the trucks had to deliver the cargo and return for loading within 3 weeks.
The challenges were connected to an absence permission to drive on public roads of the Russian Federation during daytime. Therefor LEGION ITC agree to complete the road segment in a short period of time.
The wind turbine column transportation was accompanied by two LEGION ITC convoy cars and two police cars.
The loading of the two main parts of the wind turbines were provided by two cranes which synchronously distributed the cargo on the platforms of the vehicle.
Due to well-coordinated work of the drivers and traffic police the equipment was delivered just in time.
