Dear Members,

Greetings from Bangkok, today's newsletter marks the beginning of a short hiatus from newsletters for the summer time. Our Chairman will be boarding a container ship in Singapore this week and spend three weeks at sea before disembarking in Australia. I will be between Bangkok and Cebu during this period, still available for any technical or marketing support. Heidi is also still on duty during this time, handling membership and accounting matters. Please provide her with an accounting contact if you haven't already (for the newly added accounting section on each member's profile).

The next newsletter will be Week 32 on the 6th of August.

In member news this week we announce a new member representing USA based in Miami and a new Service Provider for OOG Trucking in Russia. We see member movements from Vietnam to Indonesia, South Korea to China, Pakistan to Sudan, a Power Plant in Bangladesh and projects from China to India and Turkey.

On Bo's way to Southeast Asia this week he stopped by Helsinki where he visited member Hacklin Logistics and ship-owner OOCL (see photos below).

See You in Cebu

I am excited for our next conference becasue it will be held in the city and country I have called home for the last 10+ years, Cebu, Philippines.

Welcome to write me for questions about what other activities to plan around the conference in the region. Cebu Island has some attractions just off the coast such as Whale Sharks and Sea Turtles, but there is also great Scuba Diving in Moalboal and Malapascua. Here is a video of the top five attractions of Cebu Island. The nearby island of Bohol hosts several decent resorts and more coral reef attactions than Cebu Island.

The top attraction has to be Palawan with it's UNESCO World Heritage Sites and more specifically El Nido and Puerta Princesa Subterranean River National Park with kayaking, canoeing, world class diving and snorkeling etc.. Here is a video of the top five attractions in Palawan.
